Early-life: Thomas Cruise Mapother IV was born in New York on July 3, 1962. His mother was a teacher, his father, whom Cruise later described as "abusive", was an electrical engineer. He has three sisters. Cruise spent part of his childhood in Canada before returning to the US after his parents separated. While at high school, Tom caught the acting bug and abandoned his plans to enter the priesthood. At the age of 18, he returned to New York, where he landed his first film role in Endless Love.
Career: Within five years of his big-screen debut, Cruise was one of the hottest actors of his generation, having starred in the likes of Risky Business and Top Gun. The likes of Rain Man, The Color of Money, Interview with the Vampire and Days of Thunder followed. He has also turned his hand to producing and made the smart move of taking a share of several of his film's profits, making him one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood. Recent hits include Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, Jack Reacher, Oblivion and Edge of Tomorrow. Jeremy Renner (Actor) .. William Brandt

Early-life: Born January 7, 1971 in Modesto, California where he grew up with four younger siblings. He graduated from Beyer High School and attended Modesto Junior College. After studying computer science, criminology and psychology, he was drawn to acting. Renner also honed his skills as a drummer, guitarist, pianist and song-writer. He eventually moved to San Francisco to study at the American Conservatory Theater, before relocating to Hawaii and eventually Los Angeles. His work on acclaimed theatre project Search and Destroy paved the way for 1995 movie Senior School, and in 2002 he gave a memorable turn as a serial killer in Dahmer.
Career: Commercial success came in 2005 thriller SWAT, and he also gave a memorable turn as a soldier in 2007 offering 28 Weeks Later. The same year he starred in critically acclaimed Western The Assassination of Jessie James by the Coward Robert Ford. In 2008, Kathryn Bigelow cast Renner in her war drama The Hurt Locker, which landed him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor. He gave a fine turn in Ben Affleck's Boston-based crime thriller The Town. His recent work includes Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, The Avengers, The Bourne Legacy, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, and American Hustle.

Early-life: Rebecca Louisa Ferguson Sundstrom was born in Stockholm on October 19, 1983 to a British mother who had moved to Sweden at the age of 25. Rebecca appeared in magazine and TV advertisements for cosmetics, clothes and jewellery during her teenage years. She went on to attend Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm.
Career: Ferguson first came to prominence with a role in the Swedish soap opera Nya tider. She made her film debut in A One-Way Trip to Antibes (2011). She became known to British audiences in the 10-part BBC drama The White Queen, playing Elizabeth Woodville, a role that earned her a Golden Globe nomination. More recently, she played the lead female role in Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation (2015).

Simon Pegg (Actor) .. Benji Dunn

Early-life: Born Simon John Beckingham in Gloucester on February 14, 1970, to a civil servant and a jazz musician. He took the surname of his stepfather. In 1991, he graduated from Bristol University with a degree in theatre, film and TV - David Walliams was in the year below him. Simon ditched any musical ambitions to follow his alternative dream of becoming a comedian. He started out doing stand-up at various clubs in Bristol before heading for London in 1993.
Career: Pegg quickly gained a fanbase and performed his acclaimed one-man show at major venues in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. His first TV appearance was in 1995's Six Pairs of Pants, followed by Saturday Live and a two-year stint in ITV sitcom Faith in the Future. Other early projects include Big Train and Is It Bill Bailey? He co-wrote cult, award-winning sitcom Spaced with friend Jessica Stevenson. Ving Rhames (Actor) .. Luther Stickell
Born: May 12, 1959 in New York
Best Known For: Pulp Fiction.
Early-life: Irving Rameses Rhames was born in New York City in 1959 and grew up in Harlem. A good student, he entered New York's School of Performing Arts, where he discovered his love of acting. After high school, he studied drama where fellow acting student Stanley Tucci gave him his nickname "Ving". Rhames later transferred to Juilliard, where he began his career in New York theater.
Career: Rhames first appeared on Broadway in the play The Winter Boys in 1984. Ving continued his rise to fame through his work in soap operas. He found work as a supporting actor, and came to the attention of the general public by playing the role of Marsellus Wallace in Pulp Fiction (1994). Major hits like Con-Air and the three Mission Impossible movies followed. He won a Golden Globe in 1998 for best actor in a TV miniseries for his performance in HBO's Don King: Only in America - and memorably presented it to Jack Lemmon. Other hits include Bringing Out the dead and I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. He played the title role in a short-lived remake of Kojak.

Early-life: Alexander Rae Baldwin III was born in Amityville, Long Island, New York, on April 3, 1958. He is from a large family, which includes his actor brothers William, Stephen and Daniel, and two sisters. His father was a teacher, his mother a housewife. Alec attended George Washington University and majored in political science, originally intending to be a lawyer. However, after graduating, he auditioned for a place on New York University's drama programme as a dare. He was accepted, and hasn't looked back.
Career: Alongside theatre roles, Baldwin's early career included parts in TV series The Doctors, Cutter to Houston and Knots Landing. His first film was Forever, Lulu in 1987. A year later he starred in Beetlejuice (1988), and had smaller roles in Married to the Mob (1988), Working Girl (1988), Talk Radio (1988), and She's Having a Baby (1988). The Hunt for Red October in 1990 saw him take the lead alongside screen icon Sean Connery.
