He's been a popular Hollywood leading man ever since, and his movie credits include Amistad, EDtv, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Sahara, Failure to Launch, Tropic Thunder, and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past. But it was co-writing and starring alongside Matt in Good Will Hunting that made him famous - the duo also won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Films since include Shakespeare in Love, Pearl Harbor, Daredevil, State of Play and the Oscar-winning Argo, which he also directed.
Quote: 'I'm always described as 'cocksure' or 'with a swagger', and that bears no resemblance to who I feel like inside. I feel plagued by insecurity.'
