Best Known For: Fargo.
Early-life: Frances Louise McDormand was born in Chicago on June 23, 1957, and was adopted by a nurse and a pastor. She has two other siblings that were also adopted by her parents. Her father moved around a lot with his work, so she ended up living in lots of small towns in Illinois. She attended Bethany College, West Virginia, and Yale University School of Drama. Her first professional acting job was a play in Trinidad and Tobago.
Career: Frances made her film debut in Joel and Ethan Coen's first film Blood Simple (1984). She went on to win an Academy Award for her role in Fargo (1996) and picked up further nominations for Mississippi Burning (1988), Almost Famous (2000) and North Country (2005). The acclaimed actress has also starred in Short Cuts (1993), Lone Star (1996), Wonder Boys (2000), The Man Who Wasn't There (2001), Laurel Canyon (2002), Friends with Money (2006), Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008), Burn After Reading (2009), Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) and Moonrise Kingdom (2012). She voiced a character in Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted (2012).

Trivia: Wed Joel Coen in 1984. They have an adopted son, Pedro. She won a Tony award in 2011 for her performance on Broadway in Good People.

Early-life: Sam Rockwell was born on November 5, 1968, in Daly City, California, the child of two actors. The family moved to New York when he was two. He made his acting debut when he was ten years old, alongside his mother. While still in high school, he got his first big break when he appeared in the independent film Clownhouse (1989). He then had private training at the William Esper Acting Studio. He notched up a string of minor roles while working a string of regular day jobs and performing in plays.
Career: In 1994, a Miller Ice beer commercial finally enabled him to quit his other jobs to concentrate on his acting career, which culminated in him having five movies out by 1996. In 1997 he found himself the star of another critically lauded film, Lawn Dogs. He had larger parts in two of the bigger hit movies to emerge in 1999: The Green Mile and Galaxy Quest, wowing audiences and critics alike. Big-budget films such as Charlie's Angels gave way to more subtle independent films like Welcome to Collinwood and Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. More recent roles include Moon, Iron Man 2, Conviction, Cowboys & Aliens, Seven Psychopaths and The Way, Way Back.

Woody Harrelson (Actor) .. Willoughby

Best Known For: His starring role in Cheers and a string of hit movies.
Early-life: Born Woodrick Tracy Harrelson on July 23, 1961, in Midland, Texas, but grew up in Lebanon, Ohio. His father, Charles, has twice been found guilty of committing murder for money - once in 1968, the second time in 1978. He is also believed to have been one of several so-called hobos escorted from the infamous grassy knoll in Dallas immediately after JFK's assassination in 1963. Harrelson gained a degree in theatre arts and English from Hanover College in Indiana before moving to New York.
Career: Harrelson was an understudy for Neil Simon's Biloxi Blues on Broadway and appeared in various small productions before gaining the role of dimwitted barman Woody Boyd in Cheers in 1985. His TV commitments made it difficult for him to gain good movie roles, although he did star in the hit White Men Can't Jump in 1992. When the sitcom finished a year later, he concentrated on films, and has since starred in Indecent Proposal, Natural Born Killers, The People vs Larry Flynt, Welcome to Sarajevo, The Thin Red Line, A Scanner Darkly, No Country for Old Men, The Messenger, Zombieland, 2012 and The Hunger Games movies. In 2014, he starred alongside Matthew McConaughey in HBO crime drama True Detective.

Early-life: Abbie was born in Lochinvar, New South Wales, Australia on August 7, 1982 to Shelley and Barry. She grew up on a farm, and began modelling as a teenager. In 1999, she won an Australian Film Institute award for her role in TV show Wildside.
Career: Cornish made her film debut in The Monkey's Mask (2000) and went on to star in One Perfect Day (2004), Somersault (2004), Candy (2006), A Good Year (2006) and Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007). She won a number of awards for her performance in Bright Star (2009). More recently, she has appeared in Limitless (2011), Sucker Punch (2011), Seven Psychopaths (2012), RoboCop (2014) and miniseries Klondike.
