Early-life: Oscar Isaac Hernandez Estrada was born on March 9, 1979, in Guatemala. When he was five months old, his family settled in the United States and he was raised in Miami, Florida. His professional acting career started at the Area Stage Company, Miami Beach, when Artistic Director John Rodaz cast him in a play. While living in Miami, he played lead guitar and sang vocals for ska-punk band The Blinking Underdogs, who enjoyed some success including opening for Green Day. He put his music to one side when he was accepted on the acting programme at the Juilliard School in New York City.
Career: Isaac's early TV and film appearances were in crime drama Illtown (1998), action comedy All About the Benjamins (2002) and Law and Order: Criminal Intent. His first major film role was as Joseph in The Nativity Story (2006). He played lead roles in Inside Llewyn Davis (2013), A Most Violent Year (2014) and Ex Machina (2015). Isaac played X-wing pilot Poe Dameron in Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and, more recently, he appeared in X-Men: Apocalypse as the titular supervillain.

Best Known For: Her Oscar win for Monster.
Early-life: Born on August 7, 1975, in Benoni, South Africa. She was named after her father, Charles, who died when she was 15 after her mother shot him in an act of self-defence. At 16, Theron won a one-year modelling contract and moved to Europe with her mother. She later trained as a ballerina, but a knee injury ended her dance career. She then decided to switch to acting, and moved to Los Angeles.
Career: An agent spotted Theron arguing with a bank clerk and signed her on the spot. After eight months of acting lessons she landed her first role, a non-speaking part in Children of the Corn III. A more significant role in 2 Days in the Valley followed. Tom Hanks cast her in That Thing You Do! in 1996, and she hasn't looked back, appearing in hits such as The Devil's Advocate, Mighty Joe Young, and Reindeer Games. In 2003, she starred in the remake of The Italian Job and critically acclaimed drama Monster; her performance in the latter won her an Oscar. She also starred in The Life and Death of Peter Sellers, Aeon Flux, Hancock, The Road, Young Adult, Snow White & the Huntsman and Prometheus.

Early-life: Chloe Grace Moretz was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on February 10, 1997 to Teri and McCoy. She has four older brothers, Brandon, Trevor, Ethan and Colin. She moved to New York in 2002 with her mother and brother Trevor when he was accepted into the Professional Performing Arts School. It kick-started her interest in acting because she used to help her brother read lines and he taught her some of the acting techniques he learned. In 2004, she landed her first professional acting work in two episodes of the series The Guardian.
Career: Moretz's first movie role was in Heart of the Beholder (2005), but it would be her second big-screen acting role, in The Amityville Horror (2005), that brought her to the attention of a wider audience. She followed this up with parts in Big Momma's House 2 (2006), Dirty Sexy Money and Desperate Housewives. Her big break came in 2010 when she landed a lead role in Kick-Ass. Early-life: Nicholas Kroll was born on June 5, 1978 in New York State, United States to Lynn Kroll and Jules B Kroll, the founder of corporate investigations and risk consulting firm Kroll Inc. He studied at Georgetown University, graduating with a history major and minors in art and Spanish in 2001.
Career: Kroll's career has seen him write for Comedy Central's Chapelle's Show and MTV's Human Giant, perform live stand-up comedy and act in a variety of TV series and films. His first significant TV role was in the sitcom Cavemen. Following this, he had guest-roles in Parks and Recreation, Community and New Girl. From 2009 until 2015, he had a starring role in comedy series the League. He also created and starred in his own sketch series, Kroll Show, which ran from 2013 until 2015. Kroll's film credits include I Love You, Man (2009), Get Him to the Greek (2010), Dinner for Schmucks (2010), Adult Beginners (2014) and Loving (2016). Early-life: Born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr in Long Beach, California, on October 20, 1971, but better known as Snoop Doggy Dogg, Snoop Dogg and Snoop Lion. From an early age, Snoop sang in Golgotha Trinity Baptist Church and he was around 11 when he began rapping. After graduating from high school, he was arrested for possession of cocaine and for three years, he was in and out of prison. Music producer Dr Dre heard one of Snoop's early solo recordings and invited him to an audition.
Career: Snoop Dogg's first album, Doggystyle, was released in November 1993 and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album went on to sell more than five million copies in the United States alone and is still his most successful recording. Away from music, Snoop Dogg has also starred in a number of films, including Old School (2003), Starsky & Hutch (2004), The Tenants (2005), Bruno (2009) and Scary Movie 5 (2013). He has also had a number of brushes with the law over the years.

Best Known For: Her version of Wind Beneath My Wings.
Early-life: Bette Midler was born in Hawaii on December 1, 1945, the daughter of a seamstress and a house painter who worked on a US navy base. Her mother named her after the actress Bette Davis, although it's pronounced differently. Midler discovered her taste for performing at an early age, and went on to study drama at the University of Hawaii, although she never completed the course. In 1966, she made her film debut as an extra in the movie Hawaii, before relocating to New York to further her career. She won roles in off-Broadway plays, before landing a part in the Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof.
Career: During the early 1970s, Midler gained a cult following for her concerts in New York's Continental Bathhouse (Barry Manilow was on piano), before becoming a star with the release of her first album, The Divine Miss M. Movie success followed with The Rose, which earned her an Oscar nomination for her portrayal of a Janis Joplin-esque rocker. The film Jinxed! lived up to its name, but Midler was soon back on the big screen in hits including Down and Out in Beverly Hills, Ruthless People and Beaches, which included the classic song Wind Beneath My Wings. Her success continued into the 1990s with The First Wives Club, and films since include What Women Want, The Stepford Wives and Parental Guidance. She continues to act, tour and record.
