Mild-mannered accounting services worker Anne Yum receives unsettling news that her mother has disappeared from her care home. Moreover, the missing matriarch has spent $80,000 feeding a gambling habit and an angry creditor is holding Anne's beloved dog hostage as collateral. Anne's extrovert sister Jenny conceives a perfect plan to raise the cash involving playing for the jackpot on her favourite TV show. The siblings embark on a madcap cross-country odyssey to transform shrinking violet Anne into a game show contender and defeat its slippery reigning champion. Best Known For: Grey's Anatomy.
Early-life: Sandra Oh was born on July 20, 1971, to Korean parents in Ontario, Canada. She studied ballet from the age of four and appeared in her first play, The Canada Goose, when she was 10. Sandra took part in High School Improv Games, a major competition which brought her to the attention of student improvisational group Skit Row High which created original works at Canada's National Arts Centre. She spent three years studying at the National Theatre School of Canada.
Career: Oh fought off stiff competition from more than 1,000 hopefuls to land the title role in TV movie The Diary of Evelyn Lau. She won the 1994 Cannes FIPA d'Or for Best Actress, and also impressed the judges by accepting her gong in French. A year later, she bagged a Genie, Canada's answer to the Oscar, for her performance in the movie Double Happiness. She moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and starred in the comedy Arliss, a role which landed her a Cable Ace award for Best Actress in a Comedy. She also appeared in Bean, Last Night, Popular, Waking the Dead, The Princess Diaries, Judging Amy, Six Feet Under and Full Frontal. In 2004, Oscar-winning film Sideways boosted her popularity, and she won a Golden Globe in 2006 for her role as Dr Cristina Yang in hit US series Grey's Anatomy. She has also appeared in the films Ramona and Beezuz, and Rabbit Hole, and the Sky1 TV series Thorne: Scaredy Cat.

Best Known For: Elf and Anchorman.
Early-life: Born John William Ferrell in Irvine, California, on July 16, 1967, the son of teacher Betty and musician Roy Lee, who played with the Righteous Brothers. Will has a younger brother called Patrick. His parents divorced when he was eight. During his senior year of high school, Will and a friend performed comedy skits over the school's intercom system. He went on to study sports broadcasting at the University of Southern California. In 1994, after moving to Los Angeles, he successfully auditioned for the comedy group the Groundlings. A year later, he joined Saturday Night Live (SNL)
Career: During his time on SNL, Ferrell impersonated US President George W Bush, singer Neil Diamond, US Vice-President Al Gore and Iraqi President Saddam Hussein. By 2001, he was the highest paid cast member, earning $350,000 a season. He left the show in 2002 but has since returned as a guest host. During his time on SNL, he appeared in a number of films, including two Austin Powers movies (1997 and 1999), A Night at the Roxbury (1998), Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001) and Zoolander (2001). His first lead role was in Old School (2003). Since then, he has starred in Elf (2003), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004) and its 2013 sequel, The Producers (2005), Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006), Blades of Glory (2007), Step Brothers (2008), The Other Guys (2010) and The Campaign (2012). He has also turned up on the small screen in The Office, Eastbound & Down and 30 Rock. More recently, he starred in the miniseries The Spoils of Babylon.

Best Known For: His collaborations with Wes Anderson.
Early-life: Jason Francesco Schwartzman was born in Los Angeles on June 26, 1980 to Talia and Jack. His uncle is director Francis Ford Coppola. He had no prior acting experience before starring in Wes Anderson's Rushmore (1998). In 2001, he starred in CQ, a film written and directed by his cousin Roman Coppola. A year later, he had a role in Slackers.
Career: Film roles followed for Schwartzman in I Heart Huckabees (2004) and Shopgirl (2005). He also had a lead role in short-lived sitcom Cracking Up. He teamed up again with Wes Anderson on The Darjeeling Limited (2007). They later worked together on Fantastic Mr Fox (2009), Moonrise Kingdom (2012) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014). Schwartzman's other film credits include Marie Antoinette (2006), Funny People (2009), Scott Pilgrim vs the World (2010) and Saving Mr Banks (2013). He played the lead role in HBO comedy drama Bored to Death for three seasons.
