Best Known For: Coming from obscurity to being the biggest name in comedy seemingly overnight
Early-life: Born in 1976, in South London to a dancer and comedy writer Ray Cameron, McIntyre had a thoroughly middle-class upbringing that he describes as being entirely short of misery or material. He did his first open mic spot in 2001 having dropped out of a biology degree at Edinburgh University.
Career: Hailed as the best new stand-up to emerge in a decade, Michael has taken the comedy world by storm. He delivered electrifying sets on both We Are Not Amused (Prince Charles's 60th birthday celebrations on ITV1) and the Royal Variety Performance (BBC One), plus a stand-out performance as host on the first episode of BBC One's Live at the Apollo, leading to the Comedy Roadshow vehicle.

Best Known For: Being a presenter on This Morning.
Early-life: Alison was born in Birmingham on February 5, 1975. Her first claim to fame was a short appearance as a contestant on Big Brother in 2002 - she was the second housemate to be evicted.
Career: Since leaving the Big Brother house, Hammond has carved out a career as a TV presenter, notably on This Morning. She has also managed to fit in appearances on a number of other reality shows, including Celebrity Fit Club, Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes, Celebrity Ready Steady Cook, Celebrity MasterChef and I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! In 2014, she was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing. Hammond had an acting role in two episodes of children's drama series The Dumping Ground in 2016. She also participated in the TV shows Sugar Free Farm and Let's Sing and Dance.

Best Known For: Being the lead singer of the Kaiser Chiefs.
Early-life: Charles Richard Wilson was born in Keighley, West Yorkshire, on January 17, 1978. His first band was called Runston Parva (later just Parva). He was an art lecturer at Leeds College of Art and Design for a year before the Kaiser Chiefs were formed.
Career: Parva released one studio album, 22, in 2003, before they renamed themselves as the Kaiser Chiefs. With Wilson as lead vocalist, the indie rock band's original line-up also comprised guitarist Andrew 'Whitey' White, bassist Simon Rix, keyboardist Nick 'Peanut' and drummer Nick Hodgson. Vijay Mistry replaced Hodgson in 2013. The Kaiser Chiefs released their first album, Employment, in 2005, and it went on to sell more than three million copies. The band continues to release albums and tour around the world. In January 2014, Wilson became a coach on the third series of The Voice UK, joining will.i.am, Tom Jones and Kylie Minogue.

James Blunt (Musical guest)

Best Known For: Being a hugely successful singer-songwriter.
Early-life: Born James Hillier Blount in Tidworth, Wiltshire, on February 22, 1974 to Jane and Charles. He split his early childhood between England, Cyprus and Germany, where his father had been posted with the British Army Corps. James gained an army-sponsored place at the University of Bristol, where he first studied aerospace manufacturing engineering before switching to sociology. He went on to train at the Royal Military Academy at Sandhurst and joined the Life Guards, a unit of the Household Cavalry, where he rose to the rank of captain. During his six years in the army, James served as an armoured reconnaissance officer in Kosovo, joined the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment in London and stood guard at the coffin of the Queen Mother during the days of her lying in State.
Career: Blunt had started playing the guitar and writing songs from the age of 14. He left the army in 2002 to pursue a musical career and quickly signed a music publishing deal. In 2003, he moved to Los Angeles to record his first album, Back to Bedlam. The album was released in October 2004 and initially attracted little attention. His big break came when his third single, You're Beautiful, topped the music charts and helped propel Back to Bedlam to number one on the album charts. Success followed across Europe and in America. The album went on to sell more than 11 million copies around the world. Since then, Blunt has toured extensively and released a number of albums.
