Early-life:
Aubrey Christina Plaza was born in Wilmington, Delaware on June 26, 1984 to Bernadette and David. She has two sisters, Renee and Natalie. She is of Puerto Rican and Irish-English descent. She went on to attend New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. While at New York University, she suffered a stroke that she fully recovered from.
Career:
Plaza's first break came in 2009 when she starred alongside Seth Rogan in Funny People. Other credits include Scott Pilgrim vs the World (2010), Portlandia and The Legend of Korra. She is best known for playing cynical parks department intern April Ludgate in the sitcom Parks and Recreation, a role she has held since 2009.

Trivia:
