Early-life:
Emma Louise Barton was born in Portsmouth on July 26 1977 to David and Penelope. She trained at the Guildford School of Acting. In 2003, she made her TV debut in an episode of Spooks.
Career:
Barton's big break came in 2005 when she joined the cast of EastEnders, playing Honey Mitchell. She left the show in 2008, came back in 2014 and made the return permanent in late 2015. Away from TV, Barton has appeared on stage in Grease, Loveshack, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chicago and One Man, Two Guvnors.
