Early-life:
Edward was born in London on June 23, 1987. He wanted to become a musician but took an interest in acting after appearing in a play at Oxford Brookes University. He went on to study acting at the Central Drama Centre.
Career:
On the stage, Holcroft has starred in Jerusalem and Les Liaisons Dangereuses. He made his film debut in Vampire Academy (2014). In the same year, he starred alongside Colin Firth in Kingsman: The Secret Service. More recently, he has starred on TV in the miniseries Wolf Hall, TV movie Lady Chatterley's Lover and miniseries London Spy.
