Romesh Ranganathan (Host)
Born: January 30, 1978 in Crawley
Best Known For: Being a comedian.
Early-life: Born Jonathan Romesh Ranganathan in Crawley on January 30, 1978. He is of Sri Lankan Tamil descent. He started performing stand-up while he was working as a mathematics teacher at schools in Crawley and Banstead. He became a professional comedian in 2012.
Career: Ranganathan's breakthrough came in 2013 when he was nominated for Best Newcomer at the 2013 Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Since then, he has appeared on a number of comedy panel shows, including Mock the Week, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Have I Got News for You. He has also performed stand-up on Live at the Apollo and presented the BBC Three series Asian Provocateur and co-presented the ITV series It's Not Rocket Science.

Trivia: Ranganathan is a vegan and supports Arsenal FC.
Gareth Malone (Contestant)
Born: November 09, 1975 in London
Best Known For: The Choir.
Early-life: Gareth Edmund Malone was born in London on November 9, 1975. He was obsessed with singing from a young age. When he was 10, his family moved to Bournemouth and that was where his love of choirs began. He studied drama at the University of East Anglia and completed a postgraduate vocal studies course at the Royal Academy of Music.
Career: Malone worked for the London Symphony Orchestra from 2001 until 2009. He ran their youth choir and community choir. His big break came in 2006 when he presented the first series of The Choir on BBC Two. He was asked to create a choir from scratch at a comprehensive school in Middlesex. He auditioned 160 pupils for 30 places. After only nine months' training, he took them to China to compete in the 2006 World Choir Games. The series was a big success and since then he has presented various takes on the same format, including The Choir: Boys Don't Sing, The Choir: Unsung Town, The Choir: Military Wives, and Sing While You Work. He has also made a version of The Choir for the American market and appeared on Who Do You Think You Are?

Best Known For: Co-hosting The Last Leg.
Early-life: Alex was born in Kent in 1986 with hand and arm deformities and a twisted right leg which had to be amputated when he was a baby. He now wears a prosthetic leg. He studied journalism at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) and during his time there he spent a day working at the Liverpool Echo, wrote a column for a student magazine and was presenter on a student radio station.
Career: Brooker was the Disabled Rights Officer for LJMU before he went to work for the Press Association on a trainee editorial scheme. His big break came in 2012 when he beat thousands of people to become the face of Channel 4's 2012 Paralympics coverage. He was a co-host on The Last Leg with Adam Hills, a nightly alternative look at the Games. In 2013, he returned as a regular on The Last Leg. In January 2014, he began co-hosting Channel 4's celebrity reality series The Big Jump alongside Davina McCall but did not return for the second series in 2015. He started presented The Superhumans Show for Channel 4 in 2016.
