Vale of Evesham: Bridging the Hungry Gap
Season 2026, Episode 1

Adam Henson and Sammi Kinghorn head to the Vale of Evesham, where fertile soils and a mild micro-climate have long made it one of Britain's most productive growing regions, with a long history of producing food even in leaner months. Meanwhile, Charlotte Smith investigates how falling milk prices are leading some dairy farmers to call it a day, despite record exports and booming milk production
