Emilio's family are from Cyprus, an island nation in the Mediterranean Sea. Emilio is making two Cypriot recipes for his friends to enjoy. The first is pitta bread! The dough is formed and rolled into ovals and placed on a baking tray. The second is made up of red peppers and his special ingredient, halloumi. They are put onto skewers with an oil, oregano, honey and lemon marinade and put into the oven with his pitta bread. Emilio has made a Cypriot wishing tree for his friends to tie their wishes to. But will they like his recipe when they try it?
