Twenty Twelve co-stars Hugh Bonneville and Jessica Hynes pair up again to go on a road trip through the former Soviet republic of Georgia. Driving from the border with Azerbaijan to the Black Sea, Jessica soon discovers her spirit of adventure is causing Hugh a few moments of high anxiety, but there is worse to come when they find themselves stuck on a high mountain pass in bad weather and he has to overcome his vertigo. While the drive is a challenge all the way, the country and its people delight and surprise them at every turn

Hugh Bonneville (Presenter)
Born: November 10, 1963 in London
Best Known For: Downton Abbey.
Early-life: Born Hugh Richard Bonneville Williams on November 10, 1963, in London. When he was younger he was often mistaken for rugby hero Will Carling. After leaving school with good exam results, he was accepted by Cambridge University, where he was taught theology by Dr Rowan Williams, the former Archbishop of Canterbury. 'Everything he said went completely over my head,' says Bonneville of Williams's lectures. He originally wanted to be a lawyer, but decided to tread the boards instead.
Career: Following a spell on stage, Bonneville made his TV debut in teen sitcom Dodgem. He spent the next few years dividing his time between theatre, TV and film work, having small parts in such projects as The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, Cadfael, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Tomorrow Never Dies, Bugs, and Mosley. He had a regular role in sitcom Holding the Baby, but finally became a recognisable face thanks to the movie Notting Hill in 1999. Since then he's appeared in The Cazalets, Madame Bovary, The Gathering Storm, Tipping the Velvet, Doctor Zhivago, Twenty Twelve, and Love Again. He won rave reviews for his role in the TV comedy Freezing and Filth: The Mary Whitehouse Story. However, he's become a TV superstar on both sides of the Atlantic in recent years thanks to his starring role in period drama Downton Abbey. Recent projects have included W1A and The Monuments Men.
Quote: 'I was once congratulated in Oxford Street for my brilliant portrayal of Mr Darcy, so apparently I looked like Colin Firth when I had curly hair. I reckon I could play him in a biopic.'
Trivia: He is a patron of the London children's charity Scene & Heard and medical relief charity Medical Emergency Relief International.
Jessica Hynes (Presenter)
Born: November 15, 1972 in London
Best Known For: Her appearances in a variety of sitcoms.
Early-life: Born Tallulah Jessica Elina Stevenson in Lewisham, South London, on October 30, 1972, and raised in Brighton, Sussex. She began writing at school, concentrating on creating unusual sci-fi stories. At 14, she joined the National Youth Theatre and four years later moved to London, where she earned a crust as an an actress and comedian. She became friends with actress Katy Carmichael and they went on to work with Simon Pegg on the sketch show Six Pairs of Pants.
Career: Hynes worked with Pegg and director Edgar Wright on Asylum before they collaborated on cult Channel 4 sitcom Spaced. Hynes was nominated for an Olivier Award for her work in stage play The Night Heron, and garnered a Bafta nomination for 2001 TV film, Tomorrow La Scala! She had a small role in Pegg and Wright's hit 2004 film Shaun of the Dead. Hynes also appeared in The Royle Family, Bob and Rose, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, According To Bex, Pinochet in Suburbia, Confetti, Four Last Songs and Magicians. She made a memorable appearance in two episodes of Doctor Who alongside David Tennant, playing a teacher who won the Time Lord's love. She's since returned to sitcoms with Up the Women (which she also wrote), Twenty Twelve and its spin-off W1A.

Trivia: She decided to become known by her married name of Hynes in 2007.
