Born in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, on December 17, 1946, Eugene attended McMaster University in Ontario, where he was vice-president of a student film group.
Career:
In 1983, Levy was part of the cast of Canadian sketch comedy Second City Television, where he won two Emmy Awards for writing. He established his credentials as a comedy character actor in a number of films before his big break came in 1999, when he was cast as Jim's Dad in American Pie. He is the only actor to have appeared in all eight of the American Pie films. He has also starred in Best of Show (2000), A Mighty Wind (2004), Cheaper by the Dozen 2 (2005), For Your Consideration (2006), and Goon (2011).
