Born: July 24, 1990 in Newark
Best Known For: Being a member of boy band the Wanted.
Early-life: James Kevin McGuiness was born on July 24, 1990 and grew up in Newark. He has a twin brother and three other siblings. At the age of 13, he began attending Charlotte Hamilton School of Dance.
Career: In 2009, McGuiness became a member of boy band the Wanted alongside Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Tom Parker and Nathan Sykes. They released their self-titled debut album in October 2010 and it peaked at number four on the UK album chart. Their debut single, All Time Low, topped the chart. Gold Forever, the lead single from their second album, was released in aid of Comic Relief. In 2013, they embarked on their first world tour to promote their third album, Word of Mouth. In January 2014, the band announced they were taking a break from recording and touring. In August 2015, it was revealed that McGuiness was taking part in Strictly Come Dancing.

Trivia: McGuiness is a vegetarian.
Linda Robson (Contestant)
Born: March 13, 1958 in Islington
Best Known For: Playing Tracey in Birds of a Feather.
Early-life: Born Linda Patricia Mary Robson in Islington on March 13, 1958. She attended the fee-paying Anna Scher Theatre School. One of her early acting roles on TV was in a non-speaking part as young girl in 1976 BBC drama Survivors. In the same year, she appeared alongside Pauline Quirke for the first time in Pauline's Quirkes, a magazine-style show for teenagers.
Career: Robson's big break came in 1982 when she took on the part of Maggie in popular ITV comedy drama Shine on Harvey Moon. She reprised the role in 1995 in a revived version of the series. She also appeared in IRA drama Harry's Game. She became a household name in 1989 after landing the part of Tracey Stubbs in BBC sitcom Birds of a Feather, alongside Pauline Quirke and Lesley Joseph. The hugely popular series ran for 102 episodes until 1998. She returned to the role of Tracey in a touring version of the sitcom in 2012, and again when the show was revived in 2014. She is a Loose Women panellist and has appeared in a number of reality TV programmes, including Come Dine With Me, the Weakest Link and Comic Relief Does Fame Academy. In 2012, she was a contestant on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Trivia: In November 2014, Robson was a part of Gareth Malone's 'All Star Choir', which recorded a cover version of Wake Me Up to raise money for the BBC's Children in Need. It reached No.1 on the Official UK Singles Chart.

Best Known For: Pointless.
Early-life: Richard Thomas Osman was born in Billericay on November 28, 1970, but grew up in West Sussex. He was raised by his single mum after his father left home - they didn't see each other for 20 years. Richard studied politics and sociology at Trinity College, Cambridge, where his future Pointless colleague Alexander Armstrong was reading English literature. He claims that one of his proudest moments came when his mum and grandfather watched his graduation.
Career: Osman has worked behind the scenes as an executive producer on a number of TV programmes, including Deal or No Deal, 8 Out of 10 Cats, and 10 O'Clock Live. As the UK creative director of TV production company Endemol, he pitched the quiz Pointless to the BBC. As a way of explaining the rules, he played the co-host during a run-through. He was asked to do the role for real when the show was commissioned. Pointless started on BBC Two in 2009 and was an immediate hit. It quickly made the switch to BBC One. Since being in the spotlight on Pointless, he has made guest appearances on QI, Have I Got News for You and Would I Lie to You? He also guest presented an episode of The One Show alongside Alex Jones.

Trivia: He is the younger brother of Mat Osman, bassist with Suede, and suffers from nystagmus, a condition that results in uncontrolled movement of the eyes.
