Her alter ego Jordan.
Early-life:
Born Katrina Amy Alexandria Infield in Brighton on May 22, 1978. Her parents split when she was four, and Katie took her stepfather's name, but still has a good relationship with her biological dad. At 16, she took a job in a care home and began to train as a nurse, but became interested in modelling after a friend recommended she should pose for some pictures. Before long, Katie was an in-demand glamour model with a surgically enhanced cleavage and a new name - Jordan.
Career:
Her modelling made her a tabloid favourite and she even stood as a candidate in the 2001 general election. She gained a whole new fanbase in 2004 when she took part in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here. After leaving the jungle, she changed management, began using her real name and, along with Peter Andre, landed her own reality series. Since then, she's also enjoyed success as an author, penning several best-selling memoirs and publishing novels, as well as My Pony Care Book, which was nominated for the WHSmith Children's Book of the Year award. She failed in her bid to represent the UK at Eurovision in 2005, but has since continued to be a constant presence in popular culture, with her own range of equestrian wear and the media's continued interest in her outrageous antics.
