Craig Charles (Actor) .. Lister
Born: July 11, 1964 in Liverpool
Best Known For: Playing Lister in Red Dwarf and Lloyd in Coronation Street.
Early-life: Craig Joseph Charles was born in Liverpool on July 11, 1964. His father was a lorry driver and his Irish mother was a teacher. He grew up in Liverpool with three brothers, one of whom, Emile, is also an actor. As the only mixed race student in his class he turned to comedy to stop being bullied. He showed a talent for literature, winning The Guardian's poetry award at the age of 12, but dreamed of being a professional footballer. He played for Liverpool's youth team and had a spell at Tranmere Rovers.
Career: Charles started in showbusiness as a stand-up comedian and performance poet; he also wrote lyrics for various songs and played keyboard in the band Watt 4. In 1988, he landed the role of Lister in cult BBC sitcom Red Dwarf. He's also appeared in The Governor, EastEnders, The Bill, Doctors, and Captain Butler. Charles has hosted chat show Craig's Funky Bunker, presented game shows Robot Wars, Jailbreak, and Takeshi's Castle, and has published several books, including an autobiography. He joined Coronation Street in 2005, playing taxi driver Lloyd Mullaney. He also presents radio shows on the BBC network. In November 2014, he entered the jungle as a contestant on I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Born: March 28, 1960 in Hanover, West Germany
Best Known For: Playing Rimmer in Red Dwarf.
Early-life: Christopher Jonathan Brown was born on March 28, 1960, in Hanover, West Germany. The son of a Major General, he spent most of his early life in Northern Ireland. He went to public school in Belfast, and started a business course at Brighton Polytechnic, before dropping out. Early jobs included collecting trolleys from a supermarket car park, working as a shipping import/export clerk and an estate agent.
Career: Barrie worked at Harrods, but was sacked for impersonating a colleague on the phone. After realising he had a talent for mimicry, he landed the job of providing the voices for Prince Charles, David Coleman and Ronald Reagan on Spitting Image. He went for the part of loveable curry-eating slob Lister in Red Dwarf, but was cast as the hologram Rimmer. He also developed a cult following in BBC One comedy The Brittas Empire, in which played the regimented manager of a leisure centre. After appearing in 2001 blockbuster, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, he featured in Lara Croft and The Cradle of Life, Back in Business and Midsomer Murders. He has also fronted a number of documentary series, including Chris Barrie's Massive Engines and Chris Barrie's Massive Machines.

Jane Horrocks (Actor) .. Nirvanah Crane
Born: January 18, 1964 in Rossendale Valley, Lancashire
Best Known For: Her stunning turn in Little Voice.
Early-life: Born Barbara Jane Horrocks on January 18, 1964, in Rossendale Valley, Lancashire, the youngest child of a salesman and a hospital worker. She has two older brothers. At 10 she started singing and impersonating famous stars. On leaving school in Rawtenstall, near Burnley, she went to a technical college in Oldham. After being turned down by various drama schools, she eventually made it to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (Rada), where her classmates included Imogen Stubbs and Ralph Fiennes. She made ends meet one Easter by dressing up as Snoopy in Harrods, but ended up getting glandular fever.
Career: After graduating, Horrocks spent a year with the Royal Shakespeare Company, but left to make the film Life is Sweet with acclaimed director Mike Leigh. Her TV debut came in 1987's Road, by Jim Cartwright. He heard her impersonating Edith Piaf, Judy Garland and Shirley Bassey and was so impressed he wrote The Rise and Fall of Little Voice for her, which was turned into the 1998 movie Little Voice. Other projects include The Witches, Absolutely Fabulous, Hunting Venus and Chicken Run. She also had a one-off sketch show, Never Mind the Horrocks, in 1996, sang on Robbie Williams' Swing When You're Winning album and has released her own album. Other work includes Gracie!, The Road to Coronation Street, Trollied, True Love and Sunshine on Leith.

Born: May 23, 1951 in Trinidad
Best Known For: Playing Philip Smith in ITV sitcom Rising Damp.
Early-life: Born Don Williams in Trinidad on May 23, 1951. He has an older brother. His father, Basil Kydd, died suddenly in Trinidad at the age of 48 in 1958 when Don was six. His mother, Shirley, decided to make a new life for herself in England while Don and his brother were looked after back in Trinidad by his grandmother. Shirley settled in Newcastle with a job at a metal factory and returned to Trinidad to collect her two sons. When Don was 12, his mother left for America to retrain as a nurse. Don and his brother were then looked after in England by his Auntie Lena. Don was 17 when he landed his first job as an assistant stage manager at Newcastle's Flora Robson Playhouse. He moved to London to train at the Drama Centre and then landed the role that made him famous.
Career: Warrington began playing Philip Smith in ITV sitcom Rising Damp in 1974 alongside Leonard Rossiter and Richard Beckinsale. The hugely popular series ran until 1978 and led to a spin-off film. Decades later, Warrington directed the first UK stage tour of Rising Damp in 2013. He has also starred in Triangle, Crown Court, CATS Eyes, To Play the King, Grange Hill, Manchild, Holby City and The Crouches. More recently, he has appeared in Doctor Who, New Street Law, Casualty, Waking the Dead, Lewis and Death in Paradise. He has also performed with the National Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company, and the Bristol Old Vic. He competed in the sixth series of Strictly Come Dancing with professional dancer Lilia Kopylova. They were eliminated in week five.
