Born: February 03, 1971 in Northumberland
Best Known For: Presenting various youth-themed shows.
Early-life: Middlemiss hails from a working-class background in Bedlington, Northumberland, where her father was an electrician in the coal pit and her mother worked in a factory. She often won childhood beauty contests and dreamed of being a singer, but her first job was selling televisions in an electrical store in Morpeth. Moved to London and into the world of glamour modelling while also working as an extra on TV.
Career: Her big break came with presenting jobs on Channel 4's The White Room and BBC's O-Zone, followed by Top Of The Pops. WShe was axed from the latter, along with Gail Porter, when producers revamped the presenting line-up. Hosted She's Gotta Have It and co-presented LA Pool Party with Lisa Snowdon. Appeared on Test the Nation, and scored an IQ rating of 100. The effervescent Geordie has been globetrotting with Holiday on a Shoestring and Holiday - You Call the Shots. In 2005 she appeared on ITV's Celebrity Love Island and became emotionally involved with footballer Lee Sharpe. She won Celebrity MasterChef in 2009.

911 (Performer)
Bryan Adams (Performer)
Born: November 05, 1959 in Kingston, Ontario, Canada
Best Known For: The monster hit (Everything I Do) I Do It For You.
Early-life: Born in 1959 in Ontario, Canada. His father was a UN diplomat and Adams grew up in a variety of countries, including Britain, Israel, Portugal, Korea and Japan. Knew from an early age that he wanted to be a musician, but his parents didn't approve. After they split up, he didn't see his dad for 10 years. Left school at the age of 15 and became involved with a bad crowd, using drugs, but went back on the straight and narrow after spending a night in jail.
Career: Joined the band Sweeney Todd, who released an album called If Wishes Were Horses in 1977, but went solo the following year. His first album failed to chart, but his third, Cuts Like a Knife, went platinum in America, and the follow-up, Reckless, established him in the UK. In 1991, his single (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, the theme from the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, sold three million copies in America and spent 16 weeks at number one in Britain. Continued to score hits throughout the 1990s, including a duet with Melanie C, When You're Gone, in 1998, but then took a four-year break. He returned in 2002 with the soundtrack to the film Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. He continues to record and tour.

Trivia: Adams also started a second career as a photographer. His subjects include the Queen, who he photographed for the Golden Jubilee.
Whitney Houston (Performer)
Born: August 09, 1963 in East Orange, New Jersey
Best Known For: Her number one cover version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You.
Early-life: Whitney Elizabeth Houston was born on 9th August, 1963, in East Orange, New Jersey, to gospel and blues singer Cissy Houston. Music was always a major part of her life, as her mother was already a veteran performer by the time she was born and her aunt, Dionne Warwick, was a global star. The young Whitney was a diva in the making, but her family was keen for her to gain a good education before she devoted herself to music.
Career: Houston initially worked as a model, but her remarkable vocal ability quickly landed her a recording contract and led to one hit single and album after another. In 1992, she made her movie debut alongside Kevin Costner in box-office hit The Bodyguard, and went on to star in Waiting to Exhale and The Preacher's Wife. She returned to the music scene in 2009 when she released her seventh studio album, I Look to You, and embarked on a major tour a year later. She died on February 11, 2012. Her body was recovered from a bath at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in California. She was 48.

Trivia: In 2001, Houston was the first artist to be given a BET Lifetime Achievement Award.
