Shailene Woodley (Actor) .. Tris
Born: November 15, 1991 in San Bernardino County, California
Best Known For: The Descendants and the Divergent films.
Early-life: Shailene Diann Woodley was born in San Bernardino County, California, on November 15, 1991 to Lori and Lonnie. She has a younger brother, Tanner. She made her screen debut in the 1999 TV movie Replacing Dad. Roles followed in The District, Without a Trace, The OC, Crossing Jordan and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. When Shailene was 15, she was diagnosed with scoliosis and was put in a plastic brace to straighten her spine.
Career: Woodley made her film debut in The Descendants (2011), a role that earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Since then, she has forged a successful Hollywood film career, starring in the hugely popular The Fault in Our Stars (2014), Divergent (2014) and Insurgent (2015).

Trivia: Woodley was originally cast as Mary Jane Watson in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) but her four short scenes were cut from the final movie.
Theo James (Actor) .. Four
Born: December 16, 1984 in Oxford
Best Known For: Bedlam and the Divergent films.
Early-life: Born Theodore Peter James Kinnaird Taptiklis in Oxford on December 16, 1984, but better known as Theo James. The youngest of five children, he has two brothers and two sisters. He went on to study philosophy at the University of Nottingham, before training at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. In 2010, he made his TV debut starring opposite Billie Piper in Kay Mellor's two-part BBC drama A Passionate Woman.
Career: James made a guest appearance in Downton Abbey and played the lead role in supernatural drama Bedlam. TV work continued in Case Sensitive, Room at the Top, and Golden Boy. More recently, he has started to make a name for himself on the big screen in the likes of Underworld: Awakening (2012), the Divergent films and Franny (2015).
Quote: 'I was in the school plays, I did a lot of music. I carried on through university for short films and loads of plays.'
Trivia: James used to be the singer and guitarist of London-based band Shere Khan.
Naomi Watts (Actor) .. Evelyn

Best Known For: Playing Betty in Mulholland Drive.
Early-life: Naomi Ellen Watts was born in Shoreham, Kent on September 28, 1968. Her parents divorced when she was four and she moved across South East England with her mother. Naomi's parents reconciled but, two years later, her father died. Following his death, Naomi moved around England and Wales before settling in Sydney, Australia when she was 14, where her mother enrolled her in acting lessons. Naomi wanted to become an actress after watching the film Fame (1980). She auditioned for many TV adverts and got her first film role in For Love Alone (1986). Naomi tried to become a model at 18 and signed to a model agency that sent her to Japan. After failing several auditions, she returned to Sydney and worked in advertising for a department store and later as an assistant fashion editor for the magazine Follow Me. She decided to quit her job and pursue acting after participating in a drama workshop.
Career: While living in Australia, Watts appeared in such films as Flirting (1991), Wide Sargasso Sea (1993) and Gross Misconduct (1993) as well as the soap opera Home and Away. She then moved to America but struggled early on in her career to land work. Watts got a supporting role in Tank Girl (1995) but it flopped at the box office. Born: May 25, 1970 in Montgomery, Alabama
Best Known For: The Help.
Early-life: Octavia Lenora Spencer was born in Montgomery, Alabama, on May 25, 1970. She has six siblings. Octavia went on to study drama at Auburn University in Alabama. At the age of 19, she worked as an intern on the set of the film The Long Walk Home. She made her film acting debut as a nurse in A Time to Kill (1996).
Career: Spencer has made guest appearances in a number of TV shows, including ER, Chicago Hope, Roswell, The X-Files, Becker, Malcolm in the Middle and Dharma and Greg. She is best known for playing domestic Minny Jackson in The Help (2011), a role that earned her an Oscar and a Golden Globe. More recently, she has starred in Fruitvale Station (2013), Snowpiercer (2013), Get on Up (2014), Black and White (2014) and Insurgent (2015). She had a recurring role in the sitcom Mom.

Jeff Daniels (Actor) .. David
Born: February 19, 1955 in Athens, Georgia
Best Known For: Dumb and Dumber.
Early-life: Daniels was born in Georgia but grew up in Chelsea, Michigan. He attended Central Michigan University, and went on to Eastern Michigan University drama school. Theatre director Marshall Mason invited Daniels to New York to work at the Circle Repertory Theatre where he kick-started his stage career.
Career: In 1991, Daniels founded Purple Rose Theatre Company, a non-profit stage company in his hometown, of which he remains Executive Director. The role for which he'll mostly be remembered for came in 1994 in Dumb and Dumber. He's also well-known for various other roles in major movies including Pleasantville, Speed, Arachnaphobia, 101 Dalmations. He recently played the lead role in HBO drama The Newsroom.
Quote: 'One of the more noble things the Oscars can do is pay attention to movies no one knows about. Blockbusters don't need much help'.
Trivia: In 2006, he was inducted into the Michigan Walk of Fame.
Zoe Kravitz (Actor) .. Christina

Best Known For: Being the daughter of singer Lenny Kravitz and actor Lisa Bonet.
Early-life: Zoe Isabella Kravitz was born in Los Angeles on December 1, 1988 to singer Lenny Kravitz and actor Lisa Bonet. When her parents divorced in 1993, Zoe lived with her mother in Topanga Canyon. She moved to Miami at the age of 11 to live with her father. In 2007, she began studying at the acting conservatory at the State University of New York at Purchase, but dropped out after a year and moved to Brooklyn to work in films. Her first acting role was playing a babysitter in the 2007 film No Reservations. In the same year, she played a teenage prostitute in The Brave One.
Career: More film roles followed for Kravitz, including Birds of America (2008), The Greatest (2009) and It's Kind of a Funny Story (2010). Her breakthrough came in 2011 when she had a recurring role in Californication and played Angel Salvadore in X-Men: First Class (2011). Born: March 14, 1994 in Manhattan
Best Known For: The Divergent films and The Fault in Our Stars.
Early-life: Ansel was born in Manhattan on March 14, 1994 to fashion photographer Arthur Elgort and opera director Grethe Barrett Holby. He has two older siblings, Warren and Sophie. Ansel attended the Professional Performing Arts School, Fiorello H LaGuardia High School and Stagedoor Manor summer camp. He started taking acting classes at the age of 12 and starred in his high school's productions of Guys and Dolls and Hairspray. He made his professional acting debut on the stage in Regrets.
Career: Elgort made his film debut in the 2013 remake of Carrie. Since then, he has starred alongside Shailene Woodley in the high-profile movies Divergent (2014), The Fault in Our Stars (2014) and Insurgent (2015).
Quote: 'From an early age, I understood the concept that, if you're not the star, then your job is to not pull attention away from the star.'
Trivia: Elgort signed a record deal in 2014 and performs as Ansolo.

Early-life: Miles Alexander Teller was born in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, on February 20, 1987 to Merry, a real estate agent, and Mike, a nuclear power plant engineer. He has two older sisters, Erin and Dana. Because of his father's career, he moved around a lot as a child, residing in Florida, New Jersey and Delaware. Miles went on to study at Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where he studied method acting.
Career: Teller appeared in a number of short films before making his movie debut in Rabbit Hole (2010) alongside Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart. Roles followed in Footloose (2011), Project X (2012), The Spectacular Now (2013), Divergent (2014) and Whiplash (2014). More recently, he has starred in Insurgent (2015) and Fantastic Four (2015).
Quote: 'I always had ambition. I always knew I was going to go to college.'
Trivia: Teller was a drummer in a church youth group band. A serious car accident in 2007 left Teller with multiple scars on his face and neck.
