Early-life:
Born Michael Joseph Pennington in St Helens, Lancashire, on September 11, 1971, he's the youngest of four children. As a child, he wanted to be a priest, and joined a seminary at the age of 11, but left after four terms. He then attended an all-boys grammar school before studying art and ceramics at Middlesex University. Following his graduation, he worked in a bar and went through periods of being unemployed before trying comedy, performing as the character of failed potter and disillusioned entertainer Johnny Vegas.
Career:
Vegas's big break came in 1997 when he was nominated for the prestigious Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival. He made his TV debut in the one-off Johnny Vegas TV Show the following year. In 2001, he landed a role in the Paul Whitehouse sitcom Happiness, which won him the Best Newcomer trophies at the Royal Television Society and British Comedy Awards, although it was arguably his appearance in a series of cult adverts with a sock monkey for ITV Digital that made him a household name. Since then, he's been a regular panellist on Shooting Stars, acted in series Tipping the Velvet, Bleak House, Dead Man Weds, Ideal, Massive, Benidorm, Still Open All Hours and presented his own show, 18 Stone of Idiot. He was also in Johnny Depp film The Libertine and The Harry Hill Movie.

Early-life:
Tom was born in Enfield in 1968 and brought up near Newcastle upon Tyne. He studied drama and English at the University of Warwick and spent a year as a supply teacher in Coventry before moving to London to pursue a career as an actor.
Career:
Goodman-Hill's TV credits include a number of TV movies and miniseries as well as recurring and guest star roles in such shows as Ideal, Midsomer Murders, Foyle's War, Waking the Dead, and Doc Martin. More recently, he has starred in The Devil's Whore, Moses Jones, Free Agents, Candy Cabs, Spy, Dead Boss and Mr Selfridge. He made his film debut in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003).

Early-life:
Born in Burnley on March 24, 1984, Natalie got her first taste of working on TV at the age of 11 when BBC producers selected her to present a regional insert for Children in Need. She went on to study acting at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London.
Career:
Following a role in 2004 one-off ITV comedy drama Von Trapped, Gumede became a series regular on BBC sitcom Ideal. Small roles followed in Emmerdale, Doctors, The Scum Also Rises, The Persuasionists, and Waterloo Road before her big break came in 2011 when she began playing Kirsty Soames, Tyrone Dobbs' girlfriend, on Coronation Street. She stayed with the soap for 18 months. In September 2013, she became a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.

Early-life:
Sunetra was born in Liverpool on June 25, 1973. Her father is a doctor. She went on to study Information Systems for Business with French at Brunel University. Her breakthrough as an actress came in 1988 when she was cast as Nisha Batra in Brookside. She stayed with the soap for two years but returned to play the same character 10 years later between 2000 and 2003.
Career:
Following her first stint on Brookside, Sarker starred in London Bridge, Cold Feet and Playing the Field. Bigger roles came in No Angels and The Chase. In 2007, she was cast as Dr Zoe Hanna in Casualty, a role she continues to play. In 2014, she was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.
