The car belongs to car salesman Gerry, a dyed-in-the-wool boy racer. Sadly, Gerry's ill health has meant that the Uno has been tucked away and left to rot on his drive. His friends and family hope the boys' treatment can bring some joy back into Gerry's life

Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend head to Kent to rescue a much-loved 1973 Dennis fire engine. It used to belong to New Romney station, where firefighter Tony cherished it. He later bought it to restore and to use for charity fundraising. Alas, Tony died from cancer and never completed the restoration and his colleagues have nominated his son James for the Car S.O.S treatment, so that he can see his father's wishes come true

Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend head to Rochdale to rescue an Opel Manta GTE. The car belongs to former amateur rally driver Alan, who loved his Manta so much he couldn't bear to part with it, even when it went off the road. With Alan becoming a bit of a recluse after developing health problems and losing his wife to cancer, his family and friends hope that the Car S.O.S treatment will be just the thing to bring Alan back out of his shell

Sadly, the dream was shattered when Alison was killed in the Manchester Arena bombing in 2017. After his son was involved in a horrific road accident, Mike gave up work and supported him through a four-year recovery. Now, Mike's family want to give something back to offer thanks to such a devoted father by presenting him with his fully restored RS2000
