Early-life:
Tate Buckley Donovan was born in Tenafly, New Jersey, on September 25, 1963 to Eileen and John. He is the youngest of seven children. He made his acting debut on TV as a teenager in American sitcom Family Ties.
Career:
Donovan has made guest appearances in a number of TV shows, including Hill Street Blues, Magnum, PI, Homicide: Life on the Street, Friends, Trinity, The Guardian and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. He has had recurring roles in The OC, Damages, Deception, Hostages and 24: Live Another Day. His film credits include SpaceCamp (1986), Memphis Belle (1990), Good Night, and Good Luck (2005), Shooter (2007) and Argo (2012). He voiced the title character in Disney animated movie Hercules (1997).
