Early-life:
Born March 5, 1975, in San Diego, California. Her name is Scottish-Irish and was originally Black Lock (black hair). Spent her childhood developing surfing and artistic skills. Left home at 17 to model in Europe and Asia. Went to Los Angeles in 1998 and after a few commercials she was encouraged to pursue acting. A keen interest in tennis, surfing, ice skating, skateboarding, rollerblading, roller skating, kickboxing and snowboarding meant she could turn her hand to most things on screen.
Career:
Made her TV debut in sitcom Veronica's Closet, before paying the rent with a string of appearances in Love Boat: The Next Wave, DC, G Vs E, CSI: Crime Investigation and JAG. Roles in miniseries Jason and the Argonauts, and TV movies On The Edge, and Diamond Hunters paved the way for Star Trek prequel Enterprise.
