Early-life:
Justin Jacob Long was born in Fairfield, Connecticut, on June 2, 1978, the middle of three brothers. While studying at Vassar College in New York, he was a member of the sketch comedy group Laughingstock. He made his acting debut on the big screen in Galaxy Quest (1999).
Career:
Long first came to prominence playing nervous teenager Warren Cheswick in TV comedy drama Ed, which ran for four seasons between 2000 and 2004. He raised his profile further with a starring role in box-office hit Jeepers Creepers (2001). His other film credits include Crossroads (2002), Jeepers Creepers II (2003), Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story (2004), Herbie Fully Loaded (2005), Die Hard 4.0 (2007), Zack and Miri Make a Porno (2008), Youth in Revolt (2009), He's Just Not That Into You (2009), Going the Distance (2010) and The Conspirator (2011).
