Early-life:
Harman was born in 1975 in Hackney, London, into a Greek-Cypriot background. She's the eldest of seven children.
Career:
Harman is actually a qualified fitness instructor and spent several years working in the Algarve for a health resort before her career took a turn. It was while there that she began writing and developed a passion for broadcast - she hosted a show on the Algarve's most popular radio station, working with DJ Sir Owen Gee. In 2004, Harman joined Channel 4's A Place in the Sun - Home or Away as a co-presenter with Jonnie Irwin.
