Jasmine Harman (Presenter)
Born: November 15, 1975 in Hackney, London
Best Known For: Globetrotting with A Place in the Sun.
Early-life: Harman was born in 1975 in Hackney, London, into a Greek-Cypriot background. She's the eldest of seven children.
Career: Harman is actually a qualified fitness instructor and spent several years working in the Algarve for a health resort before her career took a turn. It was while there that she began writing and developed a passion for broadcast - she hosted a show on the Algarve's most popular radio station, working with DJ Sir Owen Gee. In 2004, Harman joined Channel 4's A Place in the Sun - Home or Away as a co-presenter with Jonnie Irwin.
Quote: 'My favourite place is Umbria in Italy - for the food, the people, the language, the scenery and the style. The men aren't too shabby to look at, either - but don't let my husband hear that!'
Trivia: She writes features for various magazines and is the resident travel columnist at Look magazine.
Laura Hamilton (Presenter)
Born: April 24, 1982 in Greenwich, London
Best Known For: Being a TV presenter.
Early-life: Laura was born in Greenwich, London, on April 24, 1982. After deciding that an offer to study law and psychology at university wasn't for her, she managed to secure a job as a runner at Channel 4. She moved up to the position of assistant floor manager and worked on a number of productions, including Top of the Pops, The Games and Big Brother.
Career: Hamilton got her first break in front of the camera in 2004 on CITV's Fun Song Factory. She went on to cover red carpet events for Nickelodeon and presented Nick Jr's morning show Wake Up World. In 2012, she began presenting Fort Boyard: Ultimate Challenge and joined the roster of presenters on A Place in the Sun. She regularly writes for the A Place in the Sun magazine. In 2011, she participated in Dancing on Ice and finished second. In early 2014, she was a contestant on Channel 4's reality series The Jump.
Quote: 'I am an adrenalin junkie. I love skiing and skydiving. My mind is always racing.'
Trivia: Hamilton supports a number of charities, including When You Wish Upon a Star. A keen traveller, Laura has visited many countries around the world.
