The two highest-scoring chefs from north-west England must go head-to-head and cook their six-course menus again. They need to impress a panel of exacting judges, Tom Kerridge, Lorna McNee, and Phil Wang. The guest judge is Debbie McWilliams, a veteran film casting director responsible for casting James Bond films since 1981. How will she judge dishes celebrating the British film industry?

Born: July 27, 1973 in Salisbury
Best Known For: Being a chef.
Early-life: Tom was born in Salisbury on July 27, 1973. He has a younger brother. His parents divorced when he was 11. Tom began cooking for himself and his brother after school while his mother was at work. He attended a youth theatre for three weeks and this led to him being cast in a Miss Marple Christmas special. He had further roles in After Henry, The Tomorrow People and Chris Cross, but at the age of 18 he decided to pursue his love of cooking by attending catering college in Cheltenham.
Career: Kerridge's first professional cooking job was as a commis chef at Calcot Manor in Tetbury in 1991. He worked in several other restaurants before joining Rhodes in the Square in 1999 as a sous chef under Gary Rhodes. He spent time in other restaurants before opening his own gastropub, The Hand & Flowers, in 2005. It gained a Michelin star in 2006 and again in 2012. He has since appeared on a number of TV shows in his capacity as a chef, including Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen. He has also presented his own series, Tom Kerridge's Proper Pub Food and Spring Kitchen with Tom Kerridge. In 2015, he became a co-host on Food and Drink.
