Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townshend head to Rochdale to rescue an Opel Manta GTE. The car belongs to former amateur rally driver Alan, who loved his Manta so much he couldn't bear to part with it, even when it went off the road. With Alan becoming a bit of a recluse after developing health problems and losing his wife to cancer, his family and friends hope that the Car S.O.S treatment will be just the thing to bring Alan back out of his shell
