Gordon arrives at Marvel Ranch in Pennsylvania, a family owner diner that has operated for more than four decades but is close to shutting its doors for ever. The owner Cheryl practically grew up in the restaurant but is on the verge of bankruptcy after buying the business from her father. Despite this, she continues to care to care for her dysfunctional staff, who are too busy messing around to give her anything in return.
