Portugal v DR Congo

Portugal v DR Congo (Kick-off 6.00pm). Mark Chapman presents all the action from the opening match in Group K, held at Houston Stadium in the USA. UEFA Nations League holders Portugal qualified by topping a group containing Republic of Ireland, Hungary and Armenia. Their top scorer was once again Cristiano Ronaldo and, even at the age of 41, it would be a surprise if he wasn't regularly involved in what will surely be his final opportunity to win this competition. Their opponents may not have anyone of Ronaldo's reputation, but the majority of their players have experience of playing in one of Europe's top leagues, including Premier League players such as Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Noah Sadiki and Yoane Wissa. They reached the finals by defeating Jamaica 1-0 in an inter-confederation play-off, with Burnley's Axel Tuanzebe scoring the winner in extra time. With analysis from Gael Clichy, Olivier Giroud and Wayne Rooney
